[VIBE CODE WEDNESDAY]
Not a meetup with speakers. A room of people building their own thing, on the same evening every week – so “I’ll get to it eventually” turns into Wednesday, 17:30. Bring your laptop, open your project, and get it further than you would have alone at home.
of the month
Roundtable Session

Register, bring what you’re building, show the room and get feedback.
(except the first of the month)
Building Sessions

No registration, no agenda. Come to work on your project.
One conversation, everyone in it. Laptops are open, but the evening is talking and listening – this is the night to say “I’m stuck” in front of the room and get five answers back.
It’s not a library. People talk, ask each other things and turn the laptop round to show what’s broken – but almost everyone has something open they’re trying to move forward, and that’s what sets the tone.
Think of it as a standing appointment with your side project: every Wednesday after work you build, and next Wednesday you show what moved. It’s the same trick as a gym session, minus the weights.
- Arrive, grab a drink, sit down at the table.
- Show & tell – whoever brought something puts it on the table.
- Feedback round – the room reacts, asks and pokes holes.
- Open floor – hot takes, current topics, and the questions nobody ever explains.
Loose and dynamic · no slides · no timer · no pitch
That’s the format, not an oversight. Doors are open from 17:30, you open your laptop and carry on where you left off. Somebody shows you the tool they found that week, you show them yours, and that’s as organised as it gets.
Come at 17:30 or come at 19:00 · leave when you’re done · it’s not a class
- Your laptop.
- Something you’re building – half-finished is the whole point.
- Or nothing at all. Coming only to listen is a normal way to attend.
- Any question, however basic.
- Your laptop – the only actual rule.
- A project, or the idea you keep postponing.
- A rough idea of what you want to get done tonight – it helps.
- Nothing to prepare and nothing to install beforehand.
- 17:30, the first Wednesday of the month.
- Space 4 – the Lounge, signposted from the entrance.
- weXelerate Hub, Praterstraße 1, 1020 Vienna.
- Free, but register on Luma – seats at the table are limited.
- 17:30, every Wednesday except the first of the month.
- The Plaza – the long table on the ground floor. Walk in and you’ll see it.
- weXelerate Hub, Praterstraße 1, 1020 Vienna.
- Free, and no registration. Just turn up.
Same either way Free · no speakers, no stage, nobody presenting at you · newbies and pros, no experience required · WiFi, power at the table, and coffee, matcha and cold drinks from the vending · and you always bring a laptop.
What actually gets talked about
Real prompts from the open round. Nobody prepares answers – that’s the point.
Where does vibe coding break down for you – the wall you keep hitting?
“It works but I don’t understand it” – ship it or dig in?
Best tool or workflow discovery this month
What’s in your rules and context files? Steal-worthy setups
Non-devs building real things – wins and imposter moments
Shipping vs. tinkering – how do you actually finish?
Cost and free-tier management – what’s actually worth paying for?
Making AI-built things not look AI-built – the design layer
Before you come
Do I need to sign up or prepare anything?
For a Building Session, no – just show up with your laptop and an idea. WiFi and power outlets are ready for you. The Roundtable needs a registration, because seats around the table are limited: that one runs on Luma.
Do I need to know how to code?
Not at all. If you’re curious about building with AI and are ready to teach yourself, you belong here. Bring a friend who is too.
Is this a meetup with talks?
No – and this is the thing people most often get wrong. There are no speakers, no slides and no stage at either format. A Building Session is a working room – people chat, but everyone has their own thing open; the Roundtable is one conversation around one table. Nobody presents at you.
Can I come late or leave early?
Yes and yes. It’s not a class – come when you can, leave when you want.
Why not vibe code from home?
Why go to a library to study? Use this as a dedicated slot in your week for your skills or your passion project. Two things happen here that don’t happen on your sofa: you actually get stuff done, and you’re not alone in the room – you pick up tools and tricks from the people next to you without anyone teaching a thing.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Both formats are free. Coffee, matcha and cold drinks come from the vending machines on site.
